It is set to open in June this year.
Funko will open its first licensed store in Southeast Asia at SM Mall of Asia in the Philippines in June 2025, through a partnership with local retailer Funtastik Enterprises Corp.
The launch is part of the US-based collectibles brand’s international expansion strategy and follows the success of similar licensed stores in the Middle East. The Philippines is one of Funko’s strongest markets in Asia, with high fan engagement and a growing demand for pop culture merchandise.
“The Philippines has been one of our strongest-performing markets in Asia, and this licensed store represents our investment in its passionate fanbase," said Funko CEO Cynthia Williams.
"We’ve seen great success with similar licensed stores in the Middle East, and we’re excited to bring that same momentum here," she added.
The store will offer Manila-exclusive apparel and collectibles including Funko Pop!, Bitty Pop!, and Loungefly, along with interactive zones and exclusive product drops.
